Ed Robinson Info

After graduating from GMC HS in 1959, I continued my education and graduated from GMC JC in 1961. Then went to UGA where I graduated in Economica/Finance in 1963. Worked for the C&S Bank in Atlanta and Milledgeville for several years and then opened a Old-Pontiac Dealership that I operated until 1981. After that I became Human Resources Director and later as Director of Environmental Health and Safety for Georgia College & State University.

I married a local girl Marcia Moore in 1967. We've been together 41 years now. Had three sons, Will, Frank, and Tom. Will was killed in the line of duty as a Baldwin County Deputy Sheriff in 1995. Frank is employed by the Medical Center of Central Georgia in the Information Technology Department. He is the father of my only two granchildren, Lauren and Logan, pictured above. Tom works for a firm out of Boone, NC constructing challenge and ropes courses all over the U.S.
I retired three years ago to be at home with Marcia who is recovering from breast cancer.
I am excited about our reunion and getting together with you again!

"Water Buffalo" sez:

I worked in the public education sector in Escambia County for 39 years as a teacher, ass't principal and principal.
I married Virginia Mason and had two children, Angela and Shaun. Angela is a nurse in Beaufort, SC, Shaun is a manager for Ford in Franklin, TN. Virginia and I divorced in 1978. She has remarried as
I. I'm married to Janice Burnes, who is a recovering cancer patient. We have been together 22 years.
I don't take pictures or make recordings...evidence!
Retired in August 2002 and hope to be able to make the trip to M'ville in Oct.
Five spinal surgeries have left me without pain, yet my ability to "get around" is impaired. Getting old is hell.
I have a Yorkie that is 4 years old. Had another Yorkie that was 13 and had him put down last September...like loosing
a child.
Other than that, if I tell you too much, like Spec. Ops. and being in both Bushes' admin., then there would be nothing to talk
about in Oct.

It was great to hear from two of our classmates this week. Felix Mooring and Larry Stafford. Larry was known as "Water Buffalo" and was one of our most colorful and memorable classmates. He lives in Pensacola Florida. Felix says he spends his time between Atlanta and Soperton, his hometown
